Background
Hello, and welcome! I’m honored to support you on your mental health and well-being journey. I am currently an Intern Counsellor completing my practicum for a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am a European-descent Canadian that is originally from the mountains of British Columbia. I've spent the past 12 years living and working in Montréal and have recently returned to Vancouver.
Throughout my career in mental health and psychosocial support, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse communities, including four years with individuals experiencing homelessness and in Montreal’s Indigenous sector. Before transitioning to psychotherapy, I spent six years in the field of food security, where I learned the importance of building trusting, caring relationships. These experiences inspired me to reorient my work toward psychotherapy, where I can offer deeper and more tailored support.
I approach my work with non-judgement, warmth, curiosity, and respect, aiming to hold a space where you can feel safe to share, process, and grow. Whether we focus on healing, self-discovery, or navigating life’s complexities, I am here to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we explore the challenges and strengths that shape your life.
Therapeutic Approach
I offer counselling for a diverse range of concerns, with a particular focus on Anxiety, Depression, Suicidality, Trauma, Emotional Attunement & Regulation, Substance Use & Addiction, and Grief & Loss. I also have professional, and lived, experience supporting the LGBTQ2S+ population.
In my counselling practice, I take an integrative approach, drawing on a variety of theories and techniques to best meet your unique needs. These may include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic theory (specifically parts work and Narrative Therapy), Somatic Processing and body-based interventions, Gestalt Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, and Addictions Counselling. At the heart of my work are the principles of trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive care, person-centredness, harm reduction, and anti-oppression.
I believe that you are the expert on your own experiences. Together, we will collaborate as a team to explore challenges, while also identifying your strengths and resources. My goal is to enhance your available choices, navigate life’s obstacles, and build resilience along the way. I am here to support you every step of the way.
I am bilingual and offer counselling in both French and English. It would be a privilege to work with you, and I look forward to connecting!

“So much of what we call abnormality in this culture is actually normal responses to an abnormal culture. The abnormality does not reside in the pathology of individuals, but in the very culture that drives people into suffering and dysfunction.” -Gabor Maté
